In her more than 25 five-star reviews of GMAT Club, Krista Nannery is consistently noted as a thoughtful, caring, and dedicated admissions counselor. She earned her MBA with concentrations in finance and marketing from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where she was a member of the Dean’s Student Admissions Committee, reading hundreds of applications from candidates and serving as an admissions interviewer. With a BA in English and German from the University of Notre Dame, Krista is a keen writer and editor and has held leadership roles at The Observer and Chicago Business newspapers. She has also been published in the New York Times, Saveur magazine, and other notable media outlets.

Not only was she the product manager of Morningstar’s portfolio management and research products for international investors but she also spent time in human resources (HR), redesigning the company’s leadership development program and managing executive succession planning. Her HR experience led her to Accenture, where she helped companies improve the efficiency of their HR processes. She was also responsible for candidate interviews for her practice at Accenture. In her spare time, Krista maintains a popular Web site about traveling and dining out.
