MBA Admissions Managing Director
Chicago Booth MBA with eight years’ experience in MBA admissions and a background in finance, marketing, human resources, and entrepreneurship
How I Can Help You
I love a good story! I have written stories my entire life and enjoy getting lost in a really good book in my spare time. No surprise—if you were to look at my University of Notre Dame transcript, you would see a lot of creative writing and journalism classes. This background is beneficial for my clients because it has equipped me to suggest effective structures for essays and great opening lines. I also have a ton of tricks for condensing my clients’ best ideas down to 500 words. And as a grammar and punctuation nerd, I am always paying attention to the little details.
Applying to business school can be a little stressful, so I definitely try to keep things fun. That being said, we have deadlines to meet, so I will do everything I can to keep you on schedule. I value efficiency and use technology with my clients to stay on track and ensure that things get done.
While I absolutely love how diverse my clients are, given my international career (I lived in London for more than ten years) and passion for traveling (75 countries and counting), I particularly enjoy helping international applicants, military candidates, and others with international work experience and/or global aspirations.
Applying to and attending an MBA program can be so life changing, and I am honored to accompany my clients on that journey.
Why Choose Me
During my more than eight years in MBA admissions, I have worked with hundreds of applicants to all the top U.S. and international business schools, garnering more than 70 five-star reviews on GMAT Club. I earned my MBA with concentrations in finance and marketing from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where I started my admissions career as a member of the Dean’s Student Admissions Committee, reading hundreds of applications from candidates and serving as an admissions interviewer.
Prior to working in MBA admissions, I spent 18 years in the investment management industry at Morningstar, primarily in Chicago and London, but also in Munich, Stockholm, Sao Paulo, and the Middle East. I was the product manager of Morningstar’s portfolio management and research products for international investors and spent time in human resources (HR), redesigning the company’s leadership development program and managing executive succession planning. My HR experience led me to Accenture, where I helped companies improve the efficiency of their HR processes.
Writing and editing are true passions of mine. I have a BA in English from the University of Notre Dame, held leadership roles at The Notre Dame Observer and Chicago Business (Booth) newspapers, and have been published in the New York Times, Saveur magazine, and other notable media outlets.
In addition to my years in investing, FinTech, marketing, HR, and MBA admissions, I have entrepreneurship experience. During the pandemic, I started my own direct-to-consumer pajama company!
