Katrina Evan’s passion for providing great service and ensuring client satisfaction began in her native Australia, where she studied travel, tourism, and hospitality before becoming a travel agent and sharing her love of travel with others. After several years, she moved to Hong Kong, where she taught English in an international kindergarten. She then continued her hospitality career back in Melbourne with Starwood Hotels & Resorts at the luxury Sheraton Towers Southgate, before an opportunity to serve as the director of catering and conference planning for The St. Regis Aspen Resort in Colorado allowed her to realize her lifelong dream of living in the United States. Katrina and her family later moved to North Carolina, where she became guest relations manager at The Umstead Hotel & Spa, the state’s only property to have earned the Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Award and the AAA Five Diamond designation.

Before joining mbaMission, Katrina had been putting her organizational skills to work for over a decade as business manager for a high-end event florist, coordinating all the company’s administrative aspects on a daily basis. Outside of work, she loves being with her family and indulging in her passions of baking, amigurumi, and yarn craft and occasionally burying herself in a great book.
