Cat Ho (she/her) holds a joint MBA/MA from the Wharton School and the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. A lifelong language and culture enthusiast, Cat has resided and worked in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, and the United States and speaks Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, and English. While living in Hong Kong before business school, Cat worked in finance at Lehman Brothers and Nomura in foreign exchange derivatives sales. Seeking a career change, she moved to Mexico City to join A.T. Kearney as a Spanish-speaking management consultant, then shifted into the technology industry, working for Facebook as a sales operations leader. As an independent consultant, Cat has consulted in the mental health and nonprofit sectors in the areas of business strategy and operations, fundraising, and sales operations.
At Wharton, Cat developed her creative leadership skills by choreographing a swing dance performance for Wharton Dance Studio. She is also the founder of the Philadelphia alumni chapter for Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO), bringing together the SEO alumni at Wharton and the local Philadelphia community. Cat holds a joint BA/BS from UC Berkeley in linguistics and business administration and now lives in San Francisco, where she practices meditation and circus arts in her free time.
