Who We Are: The Full-Time mbaMission Team

My career journey has been shaped by a consistent thread: a desire to help people and improve the systems that support them. I began in healthcare as a dietitian, working closely with patients and care teams in settings that required empathy, adaptability, and strong communication. That foundation led me into higher education and edtech, where I used many of those same skills to support students and collaborate across departments. Over time, I became increasingly drawn to the operational side of the work—how processes function, where they break down, and how they can be improved to create better outcomes for everyone involved.

That interest grew into a passion for project management. Since moving into this work, I’ve led and supported initiatives in higher education that strengthen both student support and the teams and systems behind it. I enjoy bringing structure to complexity, building relationships across teams, and helping organizations operate more clearly and effectively. My approach is grounded in both strategy and empathy, and I’m especially motivated by work that improves the experience of the people behind the process. Outside of work, I’m a mom, a lifelong learner, and someone who values meaningful connection, personal growth, and making life better for others.
