MBA News: Wharton Cryptic on Release of its Essay Questions

Yesterday, we relayed the news that, with HBS’s release of its essay questions, the 2008-2009 application season is underway. We couldn’t help but wonder if other top-schools would follow HBS’s lead and get started earlier this year. Today, Wharton’s MBA admissions committee offered information on its blog, stating that it would release its essay questions by “mid-summer”. Now, it is difficult to tell what “midsummer” really means and it is likely that they were intentionally vague, but it seems unlikely that Wharton will release its questions anytime soon. If past years are any indicator, the questions should be released by the first week of July at the latest.
