MBA News: Program Changes at IMD

The International Institute for Management Development (IMD) announced today that it will be introducing several new innovations into its 2012 program. The new IMD MBA program has three specific changes: structured pre-program preparation through online learning, reading or a pre-program immersion; personalized learning and individual coaching throughout the year; and program content that integrates classroom work, live cases and real-world projects. The new program was developed based on input from recruiters and alumni and on academic research that revealed that business leaders have changing needs, given the complexity and pace of the global economy. The new IMD MBA program will be fully introduced in its 2012 program from day one, though the 2011 program will benefit from some of the new innovations as well.
