MBA News: Lack of Legal Positions to Pressure MBA Pool?

This morning, the New York Times reported on a trend that is alarming young law school graduates – a lack of jobs and huge cutbacks in recruiting schedules for the first time ever at some major schools and law firms. Law school is often considered to be a conservative choice for recent graduates as associate positions tended to be so reliably available tograduates. However, with these changes in the economy, many aspirants, concerned by the massive loans that accumulate over three years, may look elsewhere. While some may consider other professional disciplines such as accounting or even medicine, others are bound to look toward business school, making it even harder to swim in an already crowded pool.
