MBA News: HBS Admits a Larger Class of 2+2s

As if there is not enough out there that strikes fear into the hearts of “typical” would-be HBS applicants, the Harvard Crimson is reporting that applications to the HBS 2+2 program grew last year, from 630 to 843 and the number of students who were accepted into the program grew from 104 to 115 (27 of whom were Harvard college students). So, the class of 2014, has about 12% of its places spoken for already, if these students choose to enter HBS at the end of the two year program. Still, those applying today don’t have that much to worry about, aside from a very competitive applicant pool. This year’s applicants will graduate in 2012 and the 2+2 will start to appear in the Class of 2013.
