Columbia Business School (CBS) has appointed Amanda Carlson as its new assistant dean of admissions, in charge of overseeing the admissions department of the MBA and Executive MBA programs at CBS. Carlson, who has been at CBS since 2002, most recently as director of admissions, follows Mary Miller in this role. “Mary and Amanda worked closely together on our admissions strategy,” said Dean Glenn Hubbard. “And with Amanda’s expertise in admissions, we are confident that she will continue the great work already under way and be a strong leader for our terrific admissions team.”
