MBA “News”: Wharton Follies Spoofs MBA Students’ Quest for PE Jobs

The Wharton Follies, the Wharton School’s annual comedy review (and more) recently created a video sending up many MBA students’ blind quests for positions in private equity. Although the video, “I Want the Private Equities,” is hysterical (if mbaMission may offer its opinion!), like all good satire, it strikes at the heart of a serious issue—the misallocation of talent via the MBA, due to Wall Street’s financial pull.
