Stanford GSB’s Dean of Admissions Derrick Bolton shed some welcome light on the status of R2 admissions yesterday, posting on his blog that about 2/3 of interview invitations have already been sent out. He wrote:
“…we have invited 275 second-round candidates to interview. We will extend an additional 100-125 interview invitations to second-round candidates in the next couple of weeks.”
In addition, over the next couple of weeks, the GSB will reach out to some first-round candidates who were waitlisted without interviews and offer them interviews as well.
