Recruiter (In-House)

mbaMission is the largest and fastest-growing MBA admissions consulting firm in the world. We have a team of 25 full-time admissions experts and have helped thousands of MBA applicants gain acceptance to elite business schools around the globe. We are seeking to fill several roles on our growing team and recognize the need for a part-time, work-from-home recruiter who can ensure that we have the strongest and most diverse pipeline of applicants.

What We Seek

mbaMission seeks an experienced recruiter who will help define criteria for positions, source candidates, and evaluate talent. The recruiter will work directly with our firm’s president/founder and the head of our hiring committee to solve our most critical challenge—securing the human capital necessary for our organization to continue to grow and succeed.

The position offers a base compensation and a bonus for meeting mutually agreed-upon objectives. Benefits might also be offered, depending on the time commitment involved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish hiring criteria and source applicants for both front office and consulting team positions
  • Develop job descriptions and job specifications
  • Post job openings to appropriate job boards, colleges, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Evaluate, funnel, and screen candidates
  • Help determine compensation for those in front office positions and assist in negotiating offers
  • Manage the various stages of a rigorous internal evaluation process for consultant hires
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for specific hires

Required Qualifications

  • Proven professional experience as a recruiter
  • Ability to work independently and multitask
  • Capacity to conduct different types of interviews and thoughtful reference checks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Undergraduate degree; BS/MS in Human Resources Management a plus
