The Portuguese Council Chaired Professor of European Studies,\u00a0Antonio Fat\u00e1s<\/strong>\u00a0teaches macroeconomics on INSEAD\u2019s Singapore campus. Fat\u00e1s has served as a consultant for numerous international financial organizations, including the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the OECD, and the European Commission, as well as for the U.S. Federal Reserve and even the government of the United Kingdom. A recognized global expert on fiscal policy, business cycles, and the economics of European integration, Fat\u00e1s has published pieces in the\u00a0Journal of Economic Growth<\/em>,\u00a0Credit and Banking<\/em>, the\u00a0Quarterly Journal of Economics<\/em>, the\u00a0Journal of Money<\/em>, the\u00a0Journal of Public Economics<\/em>, and the\u00a0European Economic Review<\/em>, among other outlets, and has been featured regularly on CNBC and BBC World News as well as in the\u00a0Financial Times<\/em>,\u00a0Forbes<\/em>, the\u00a0Huffington Post<\/em>, The\u00a0New York Times<\/em>, and\u00a0The Economist<\/em>.<\/p>\n

One student we interviewed who had taken Fat\u00e1s\u2019s macroeconomics class observed, \u201cIt was an incredible learning experience, and I enjoyed the course a lot.
