{"id":1823,"date":"2010-07-15T14:44:03","date_gmt":"2010-07-15T20:44:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mbamission.com\/blog\/?p=1823"},"modified":"2010-10-07T08:07:37","modified_gmt":"2010-10-07T14:07:37","slug":"prizes-to-drive-innovation-in-management-education","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mbamission.com\/blog\/prizes-to-drive-innovation-in-management-education\/","title":{"rendered":"Prizes to Drive Innovation in Management Education"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), the nonprofit association of business schools that owns the GMAT exam, announced an \u201cIdeas to Innovation\u201d (I2I) challenge today that aims to find ways to improve management education.<\/p>\n<p>The execution is simple; the concept is not.\u00a0 Participants are invited to submit one idea in three paragraphs answering the question \u201cWhat one idea would improve graduate management education?\u201d\u00a0 For this contest, GMAC defines innovation as the implementation of an idea that improves management education in a meaningful way\u2014for students, for schools, for societies.<\/p>\n<p>$250,000 in prizes will be awarded to 15 people with the top ideas; the most promising proposal will take home $50,000.\u00a0 You can submit between 7\/21 and 10\/8, to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gmacmetfund.org\/\">www.gmacmetfund.org<\/a>. Entries will be judged by a panel of educators and business leaders from around the world.
