Today, we profile<strong> Robert Shiller<\/strong> from the Yale School of Management (SOM).<\/em><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9303\" style=\"margin: 5px;\" title=\"Robert Shiller\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mbamission.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/Robert-Shiller-200x300.jpg\" alt=\" width=\"160\" height=\"240\" align=\"right\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mbamission.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/Robert-Shiller-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.mbamission.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/Robert-Shiller-682x1024.jpg 682w, https:\/\/www.mbamission.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/Robert-Shiller.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 160px) 100vw, 160px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Even those not considering pursuing an MBA may be familiar with <strong>Robert Shiller<\/strong> (\u201cBehavioral and Institutional Economics\u201d), thanks to the famed Standard &amp; Poor\u2019s\/Case-Shiller Home Price Index. Currently the Arthur M. Okun Professor of Economics at the SOM, Shiller has been at Yale since 1982. The SOM Web site notes that Shiller has written about \u201cfinancial markets, behavioral economics, macroeconomics, real estate, statistical methods, and public attitudes, opinions, and moral judgments regarding markets\u201d and is the author of <em>Finance and the Good Society<\/em> (Princeton University Press, 2012).
