Today, we profile\u00a0<strong>Kevin Lane Keller<\/strong>\u00a0from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mbamission.com\/blog\/2011\/10\/26\/professor-profiles-kevin-lane-keller-tuck-school-of-business-at-dartmouth\/kevin-lane-keller\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7278\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7278\" style=\"margin: 5px;\" title=\"Kevin Lane Keller\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mbamission.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Kevin-Lane-Keller-199x300.jpg\" alt=\"Kevin Lane Keller, Tuck School of Business\" width=\"199\" height=\"300\" align=\"right\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mbamission.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Kevin-Lane-Keller-199x300.jpg 199w, https:\/\/www.mbamission.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Kevin-Lane-Keller.jpg 235w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 199px) 100vw, 199px\" \/><\/a><\/em>Tuck states on its site that<strong> Kevin Lane Keller<\/strong> (\u201cStrategic Brand Management\u201d) is known as one of the foremost experts on branding, and Keller has served as a brand consultant for some of the world\u2019s most recognizable companies, including Coca-Cola, MTV and Procter &amp; Gamble. A recent graduate told mbaMission, \u201cIt is cool to hear his experiences from different companies he\u2019s worked in.\u201d Another alumnus added, \u201cHe is very approachable and in touch with students. He likes to get feedback from students in terms of what they experienced during internships or jobs.\u201d As for Keller\u2019s teaching style, another alumnus explained, \u201cHe is more of a lecturer than a class participation professor.\u201d And a second-year student we interviewed described him as \u201cstraight out of the West Coast\u2014very laid-back. He\u2019s known as a cool professor, and a brilliant one.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For the final project (which accounts for 40% of a student\u2019s final grade) in Keller\u2019s \u201cStrategic Brand Management\u201d course, students form a \u201cbrand management team\u201d with three to four of their classmates to conduct a brand audit, which involves analyzing a brand of the team\u2019s choosing and preparing a subsequent report and presentation to be made to the class. One alumnus told mbaMission, \u201cI really enjoyed the brand audit project because you get to pick a brand that interests you and then learn all about it.
