MBA News: Wharton Releases Class of 2015 Profile

The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania has published its annual class profile, offering a glimpse at some statistics that may interest applicants. Applications were apparently down from 6,408 for the Class of 2014 to 6,036 for the Class of 2015, whereas the number of enrolled students actually rose from 837 to 855. The median GMAT score also increased slightly, up to 725, compared with 720 in 2014. In terms of class composition, the percentage of female students held steady at 42%, while that of internationals tapered slightly to 35% from last year’s 37%.
