At mbaMission, our consultants are more than just graduates of the world’s top MBA programs—we are also expert communicators who possess an unparalleled knowledge of the admissions process. Each week, we highlight one member of our team who has committed his/her professional life to helping you get into business school.
Kim Leb earned her bachelor’s degree with a double major in psychology and mass communications from the University of California, Berkeley, and spent the next five years working at Google in sales and operations across the United States, Asia, and Europe. Realizing she wanted to transition into management consulting, Kim applied and was admitted to several top business schools, including the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia Business School. She ultimately decided to pursue an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, where she was awarded a merit-based full scholarship. While there, she served as a member of the Ross Admissions Student Committee, interviewing applicants to the full-time MBA program.
After graduating from Michigan Ross, Kim joined Accenture Strategy’s Talent & Organization Consulting practice. She worked across industries, helping C-suite leaders create new operating models, define their talent strategy, and develop their people. She also led Accenture’s campus recruiting for several schools, through which she gained additional expertise in helping candidates stand out and get the job they want. In addition, Kim holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources certification and earned a certificate in business strategy via the Accenture-INSEAD Online Strategy Certificate Programme.
Kim has been assisting and encouraging MBA applicants since 2012 and enjoys all aspects of the admissions process, so she is thrilled to now be coaching mbaMission clients through their personal MBA journeys.
