MBA News: Wharton’s Solution for Subpar Writing

The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, often stereotyped as a “quant school” or “finance school,” has decided to get proactive about improving its students’ writing skills. The Daily Pennsylvanian notes that, while quantitative analytic skills are highly sought, employers also value strong writing and communication skills, areas in which business students often fall short.
