MBA News: NYU Stern Launches Degree in Shanghai

New York University’s Stern School of Business will soon be offering a new Master of Science (MS) in Business Analytics degree at its New York and Shanghai campuses. Beginning in May 2013, the MS in Business Analytics will be the first degree offered at the school’s Shanghai campus and the first accredited graduate-level program in this discipline, which mixes business and technology, to be offered by a top b-school. The program, which will span one year, is designed for executives with at least ten years of experience in fields such as manufacturing, technology, health care and energy, who also have strong quantitative backgrounds. The MS in Business Analytics will appeal to executives around the world, but especially those in Asia, who need to manage in the growing manufacturing sector.
