August 20: Road to Business School 2011 (NYC)

Find the right MBA program for you with seminars, meet-and-greets and admissions advice at Kaplan’s Road to Business School 2011. Engage with schools one-on-one in an open networking session with more than 20 top schools in each city, hear key application advice from a panel of admissions officers and get an edge on your application in breakout sessions.

mbaMission Founder and President Jeremy Shinewald will first moderate a Pre-Fair Admissions Panel at 1 p.m. with admissions officers from the following MBA programs:

  • Duke’s Fuqua School of Business
  • NYU Stern
  • Dartmouth Tuck
  • UCLA Anderson

In the “Writing Effective Essays” Admissions Strategy Session at 2 p.m., Jeremy will lead an essay-writing workshop for prospective business school applicants. Attendees will complete a series of exercises that will challenge them to uncover their personal and nuanced stories, craft compelling opening statements, develop meaningful goal statements, connect their goals to their target school’s resources and more.
