Wall Street Journal: Increasing Interest in Master’s Degrees in Financial Engineering

This morning, the Wall Street Journal reports on the rise in interest in Master’s Degrees in financial engineering. It seems that some candidates are circumventing, replacing and/or supplementing their MBAs with this specialized degree. While the MBA is certainly not at risk of extinction, this path to Wall Street is often overlooked by many who would enjoy the experience far more than an MBA:
