Hello,

I'm considering applying in the last round and have been told by many folks that it isn't a good idea. Here's my situation:

1. made the decision to go to business school about a month ago
2. Took my GMAT, scored 680 (was practice testing higher, disappointed in my score)
3. Want to go to berkeley, columbia, ucla, or stanford
4. had 3.15 GPA from uc berkeley engineering
5. 7 years work experience - marketing
6. have not started essays yet

Based on this, should I try to squeeze into the 2nd to last round where possible? Or should I take the time to beef up my GMAT score, write essays, have a more complete application, but risk the "impossible last round"?

Many thanks for your help. I am also considering using your services. Let me know if I should go that route. I'll make an inquiry there as well.

Cheers,
David
