MBA News: Wharton Nearing Gender Equality?

In an article in today’s Daily Pennsylvanian, Wharton Admissions Director J.J. Cutler discusses the school’s increasing number of female students. Wharton’s Class of 2005 was 33% female; its Class of 2011 will be 40% female—a difference of approximately 60 female students per year.  The author is unafraid to note that Wharton’s percentage is higher than that of rivals Harvard, Chicago and Kellogg.
