MBA News: New York Times Profiles Charlottesville, Virginia, Home of UVA (Darden)

When one chooses Columbia, most often one does not need to do any research on New York City to get a feel for the city. Similarly, people often have a sense of Chicago, when they choose Kellogg or the Chicago GSB, or Boston when they choose MIT or HBS. But, what can be said of Charlottesville, for admits who choose Darden? Can anyone who has not visited truly claim to have an image of this quaint college town?  Well, fortunately, the New York Times made Charlottesville the subject of its “36 Hours in (city name)” series yesterday, highlighting the town’s cutting edge cuisine, classic architecture, thriving music scene and its place in American history. For those interested in Darden, the article is definitely worth reading.
