University of Chicago GSB Receives Largest Gift in its History

The University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business recently announced that it had received the largest charitable gift in its history, courtesy of Charles M. Harper (MBA ’50). Mr. Harper, former CEO of Conagra did not disclose the sum that he had donated, but the GSB noted that it is a larger sum than past donations of $20 million and $25 million respectively. In honor of Mr. Harper, the GSB will be renaming its Hyde Park Center, the Charles M. Harper Center.
