MBA Admissions Managing Director

NYU Stern MBA with an expansive media background and extensive experience in career development and recruiting

How I Can Help You

Everyone has a story to tell, but very few people know how to tell their story. Since my days studying journalism at Northwestern University’s Medill School, storytelling has been my greatest passion. Exploring the entire breadth of my clients’ life experiences, I love pinpointing the most compelling and personal angles from which to tell their stories most effectively. And with my pre-MBA marketing experience crafting brands’ messaging and my time as an New York University (NYU) graduate fellow with Stern’s Office of Career Development, I am able to leverage the skills I developed to position my clients best in the competitive admissions process. I enjoy working with all kinds of candidates, from those with more traditional finance and consulting backgrounds to those coming from more nontraditional, less represented fields. Ultimately, applicants who enter this process with excitement, an open mind, and a confident attitude are the ones who will enjoy working with me—and for those who are more anxious or apprehensive, I can promise you I will do my best to make this a fun and stress-free experience!

Why Choose Me

I love this job because I love helping people learn things about themselves that they might not have known before, whether professional or personal. Teaching my clients how to write powerful, moving stories about themselves is just a bonus; we leverage these stories to help them achieve their MBA goals and gain admission to top-tier business schools. My extensive background in journalism, advertising, and television, combined with my MBA from NYU Stern, has allowed me to help hundreds of clients for more than ten years, earning more than 80 five-star reviews across GMAT Club and Poets&Quants. After earning my BS in journalism from the Medill School at Northwestern University, I started my career in television production with NBC and MTV before transitioning to media buying, where I planned clients’ online marketing campaigns. Next, at Stern, I specialized in finance, marketing, and TMT (technology, media, and telecom); served as a vice-president of the Entertainment, Media & Sports Association; and contributed to the student newspaper, The Stern Opportunity. As a graduate fellow in Stern’s Office of Career Development, I reviewed students’ resumes and cover letters and conducted mock interviews, while working with recruiters from McKinsey & Company, J.P. Morgan, Boston Consulting Group, and Amazon, along with several other top investment banks, consulting firms, and technology companies.
